story
we're independent coffee roastery and coffee house, founded in leicester in 2016.
our story began with mokha, yemen, one of the great birthplaces of coffee. inspired by its history and the people who first carried coffee from yemen to the rest of the world, we built saints of mokha around a simple idea: to find extraordinary coffee and share it.
before a coffee reaches our cupping table, we look closely at how it was grown and processed, its sustainability, and the people and communities behind it. only then do we taste.
every coffee is cupped blind, free from reputation, price or influence. what matters is what is in the cup.
we're not interested in offering as many coffees as possible. we're interested in finding the exceptional ones.
that search has taken us to remarkable producers and farms around the world, from rare and competition-winning lots to coffees produced in extraordinarily small quantities. yemen remains particularly close to us, both for its extraordinary coffee and its place in the history of the drink itself.
over the past decade, that philosophy has taken saints of mokha from a small independent coffee house in leicester to recognition amongst some of the best coffee shops in the country and across europe.

the recognition means a lot to us. but it hasn't changed what we're looking for.
